One Waves OTT App, Many Many Problems!

Normally when a new business enters the market then it tries to be extra humble, a little extra lucrative and do everything it possibly can to retain and thrive the business. But Prasar Bharati?

Hell no.

You see, it is an absolutely great step that Prasar Bharati after all these years understood the need to launch an OTT app and has actually launched it.

The pricing is a little too much but let’s talk about the app first.

The UI/UX is absolutely crass. It manages to join the league of any government website which is usually highly repulsive to users as they are designed in a pathetic manner.

The reason?

The government agencies know that the users have no other option. Similarly, if you wanna access the documentaries, and archives of the past then you have no option but to use Waves OTT.

So, Prasar Bharati did not bother to make any effort to improve the user experience.

The search engine is totally useless. One mistake in the spelling and you can’t find what you were looking for.

You can’t use your account on two devices. Seriously?

For Waves? At this point.

The overall positioning of ads is quite abrupt.

Waves is not at all concerned about the UI/UX and perhaps it will not fix those problems in a long time to come.

But, let’s be hopeful.
