SonyLIV’s New Slate Brings Balance in 2025 Titles

Sony LIV has announced its 2025 line-up, and it shows a careful balance between popular returning seasons and brand-new titles. The streamer knows the value of its established hits, and many fan favorites are making a comeback. Hansal Mehta is back with Scam 2010: The Subrata Roy Saga, which follows the story of the Sahara Group founder after the success of Scam 1992 and Scam 2003. Huma Qureshi will return in Maharani Season 4, joined by a strong ensemble as the show continues its deep dive into Bihar politics. Viewers will also see the Mishra family once again in Gullak Season 5, while Freedom at Midnight Season 2 will continue to shed light on significant chapters of India’s history.

Alongside these returning shows, Sony LIV is also introducing fresh stories that expand its range. Real Kashmir Football Club will highlight the passion of the sport against a unique backdrop. Summer of 76 – Ye Kaisa Hai Junoon! promises a nostalgic yet intense tale, while 13th – Some Lessons Aren’t Taught in Classrooms looks at life beyond the boundaries of formal education. Civil Lines and Dynasty – Moh, Nisht, Sattha will bring layered narratives rooted in politics, power, and human conflict.

What makes the slate stronger is the variety of regional titles that bring diverse languages and cultures to the forefront. By mixing sequels of well-loved series with bold new ideas and regional depth, Sony LIV is creating a line-up that feels both familiar and refreshing.
