The Tamil film Dude, starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, will start streaming on Netflix India from November 14. The movie was released in theatres on October 17 during the Diwali weekend and quickly became one of the biggest Tamil hits of the year.
Dude follows the story of Agan, played by Pradeep, and Kural, played by Mamitha, who run an event planning business together. Their friendship takes a turn when Kural confesses her love, leading to emotional twists and family conflicts. The film mixes romance, drama and humor, making it a relatable story for young audiences.
Directed by Keerthiswaran in his debut, the movie has music by Sai Abhyankkar, whose songs like “Oorum Blood” and “Singari” became popular after the theatrical release. Veteran actor R. Sarathkumar also plays an important role as Kural’s father.
The film has earned more than 100 crore rupees worldwide and has been praised for its performances, visuals and music. With the Netflix release, it will be streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi, starting from 14th November.
