The movie is about a modern love story set in the near future where a smart artificial intelligence named Dob is powered by human feelings. Dob, the AI is able to communicate with the staff members on a personal level. Lana, who works in the building, goes on a date with a man named Bob and has a terrible time with him.
The machine, Dob, falls in love with Lana, and when Bob tries to tamper with his code, a glitch causes the transfer of the AI’s consciousness onto the man. It escapes the building into a real man’s body and tries to win her affections.
