Shot on the set of “Asteroid City” the day after the movie wrapped, this short film is presented in the retro style of a Hollywood promotional featurette, in which a director or a studio executive would give a stilted pitch for an exciting new picture. Here the promotional spiel is delivered by actor Tab Whitney, whose supporting role of Jock Larkings, the head of armaments-and-aeronautics company Larkings Corporation, was unfortunately cut from the film. Whitney is joined by Jones Hall, who plays the lead role of widowed war photographer Augie Steenbeck in the production.
