White Lines

White Lines is a crime thriller set in the backdrop of the perennial party island of Ibiza. The dead body of Axle, a legendary DJ from Manchester, washes up on shore in Ibiza, twenty years after he disappeared one summer night. After his body turns up, his sister Zoe is determined to find out what really happened to him. She makes the trip to Ibiza, and meets with all the people who knew and interacted with Axle. One of his friends admits that everyone had reason to hate Axle. Even as Zoe digs deeper into Axle’s murder, she is drawn into the glamour of the island, eventually discovering a hitherto unknown dark side to her own character. The series is all about the dangerous mix of glamour and drugs, which is depicted in graphic detail in the series.
