Carmen, an independent and modern woman, goes to have dinner at the house of her sister Ana, a married and traditional woman. Mateo, Ana’s husband, intervenes at dinner, continually clashing with Carmen’s way of life. The element of tension during dinner is Mateo’s concealment of physical abuse of Ana.
