Devi is a story of women’s empowerment. Nine fiery women, each with her own tale of oppression, subversion and crimes committed against her, are drawn by fate to come together under one roof. The short film revolves around how the women forge an unusual sisterhood, drawing strength from one other, and emerge, more vibrant and strong, to take on their individual torments. The women are all from diverse age groups and backgrounds, but have a common ground – female subversion and subsequent empowerment.
