Jalsa

The film revolves around a hit and run case of an 18-year-old and its controversial aftermath. The film touches the topic of corruption in law enforcement which is not exactly a safe zone in filmmaking.

The story takes the perspective of a journalist and the victim’s mother who together are ready to overtax their strengths in order to get to the bottom of the issue at hand. Things get further intense when not even people from a profession like journalism, who are said to be equally powerful in a country, are ready to lend a hand.
