The documentary addresses the life and work of Luisa Carnés, Mada Carreño, Margarita Nelken, Silvia Mistral, Victorina Durán, María Dolores Arana and Carlota O’Neill, Spanish artists and intellectuals who were forced to flee Spain after the Civil War and started a journey into exile where they had to start over, both personally and professionally.
