Maestro is a remake of 2018 superhit dark comedy Hindi movie Andhadhun. In Goa, Arun is a great pianist, who fakes being blind to improve his piano skills. He meets Sophie while trying to buy a piano. Sophie takes care of Arun and soon they begin an intimate romantic relationship. Sophie is impressed by Arun’s talent and gets him an engagement at her father’s diner. At the diner, a retired actor, Mohan, notices Arun and invites him to perform for his wedding anniversary. Arun arrives at the flat and Mohan’s wife Simran opens the door. Simran, convinced that Arun is blind, lets him play the piano. Arun sees Mohan’s dead body nearby. This event changes Arun’s life.
