This South Korean family drama follows the life of a young man, Han Geu-ru. Geu-ru is a 20-year old who has Asperger syndrome (an Autism Spectrum Disorder) and needs someone to take care of him with day-to-day activities. He works with his father Han Jeong-u, in the company “Move To Heaven” as a trauma cleaner – a person who cleans up the house of a recently deceased person. According to his father, cleaning up the home of a deceased person and returning the items to their loved ones, is a way of giving them untold messages from beyond the grave and it will help them move on with their lives.

When his father suddenly dies, young Geu-ru is hit hard, but he is unable to express his sadness properly. Enter his uncle, Cho Sang-gu, who just got out of jail and finds out his brother has passed away. Geu-ru’s father leaves everything to Sang-gu, if he does two things – one, he has to take care of Geu-ru and two, he has to work as a trauma cleaner for their company ”Move To Heaven” for 3 months. Sang-gu accepts but he has ulterior motives – he gets a house for himself and all he has to do is “babysit his brother’s kid”. Although, they both start off on the wrong foot, Sang-gu and Geu-ru warm up to each other as they work together as trauma cleaners.
