Never Have I Ever is a comedy young adult series that is centred on a young, first-generation Indian-American girl, Devi. Devi is a high achiever at school. That, coupled with her Indian ethnicity, leads to her being labelled a nerd in school. She also has a short temper due to which she gets into a lot of trouble with her teachers and supervisors. After a difficult year, in which age also lost her father, she enters her sophomore year at school with an aim to snag a boyfriend – and not just any boyfriend, but the hottest guy in school.
