Netflix’s latest outing in the German market which recently has given them tremendous success is a period crime drama titled Oktoberfest: Beer and Blood. Netflix is trying to involve with the general public of different countries by producing and making content around the culture and history of the country. Oktoberfest as we all know is a festival which happens yearly in Germany. The show is based on that but with a dramatical twist. The show is created by Christian Limmer, Ronny Schalk, and Alexis Wittgenstein.
Plot
The story is set in 1900s where a rich mobster arrives in the town of Munich with a desire which is to make the town THE hub for the festival of Oktoberfest. To reach his goal he would go to any lengths. While he fixes a deal with his rival with his daughter as the price for the service by his rival. This is opposed by his daughter, who is in love with a small brewer’s son. He makes unexpected allies and many foes in his quest to make the finest beer in the area. But with his rival at large and waiting for just the right moment to pounce on him, will he succeed?
