Over the Moon, animated movie streaming on Netflix from the 23rd October 2020. Initial release on 16th October.
Synopsis:
A musical, magical animated story about a young girl named Fei Fei in modern day China believes the reality of a mythical story narrated by her late mother. She is obsessed with the idea that there is a princess sitting on the moon waiting for her one true love. She is fed up and sad with everyone around her who just thinks of this as a old Chinese myth.
Not ready to accept failure, Fei Fei sets out on a journey to prove everyone wrong. Her nerdy skills come in handy and she is able to build herself a makeshift rocket to propel herself to the moon. She is accompanied by her pet snd her to-be-stepbrother Chin. They land on a imaginary kingdom called Luminaria, where they come across the princess and she all of a sudden realises it is nothing like what her mother told. With these they set out on journey to complete their mission. With the film’s motto of “believing is everything”, this will be a treat itself.
