The main character “Sae” is having an affair with her boss at work, and suffering from such a form of love. She has an argument with him while breaking things off, and he becomes violent. Unfortunately, the man falls off a cliff and dies. In confusion and fear, Sae gets a ride to town in a passing car, but the air in the car is awkward and heavy. As the two talk about each other, they feel a strange sense of solidarity. Then the driver tells her about his past, leading Sae to an unimaginable ending…
