Part one begins with Edd handling the controls of a ship, which is heading directly towards Earth. Edd yells to Tom to get the ship’s engine working, but Tom is shown lying unconscious on a control panel with Matt yelling that he is down. Edd is unsure what to do, as he and Matt go hurtling towards Earth. Matt yells his trademark “Not the face!” line as they head toward their doom, and the opening plays before we see what happens next.
