Following on from season 1, the fallout from Jessie’s decision to stay in East London and pursue a relationship with Tom, instead of going ahead with her original plan of returning home to New Zealand.
Season 2 also introduces Russell Tovey, who plays an annoying film director who clashes with Tom and provides even more drama. In addition to this, Tom’s family are happy to knock him down a peg or two, and the introduction of new characters provides greater insight into the complicated relationship between Jessie and Tom.
