‘Sutliyan…Rishton Ki Ek Anokhi Bunai’ is a story about a simple family and their relationships with one another, which change over time but remain intertwined. ‘Sutliyan’ deals with the everyday struggles of life after losing your loved one, and how the mundane little things make our life beautiful and worthwhile to live.
The story revolves around Supriya and her grown children, Rajan, Ramni and Raman. Supriya is still struggling to manage her day-to-day responsibilities after her husband died of covid. She is lonely and even upset with her children because they did not come to attend their father’s last rites. Supriya has spent her entire life reliant on her husband, but she is now attempting to carve out her own path by launching Sutliyan, a handmade macrame business.
