The Dalles is a small anachronistic town along the Columbia Gorge, a wide river that cleaves Oregon and Washington. 18-year-old Cam is in the early stages of discovering his transness (not an easy feat in the American West) when a queer and handsome cyclist, 24-year-old Spencer, rides past the cherry farm stand where he works. Cam feels both desiring and seen. He follows the older man by bike to Rooster Rock, a cruising site along the Columbia River Gorge.
