The film is inspired from a real life story of a father in search of his son. The film follows an ageing and now retired intelligence official, who is politically connected and whose son goes missing with his girlfriend, in the snow-capped peaks while hiking. The father stops at nothing to get them both back to safety, no matter what the cost is.
After days of searches, Mircea puts his own rescue team together, leading to conflict with the local squad. The two most important motifs in the film are guilt and obsession of a father.
