Based on Shakespeare’s play, The Taming of the Shrewd, Kaka decides to leave her cheating partner behind her and go back to her birthplace of Zakopane, Poland. However, her brother’s attempts to sell the family estate to a greedy businesswoman are thwarted by her unexpected reappearance.
In order to get Kaka to alter her opinion, the interested parties will pay someone to charm and entice her. When Patryk shows up, he’s willing to take on any task to make ends meet despite his lack of funds and debt. However, when the boy’s feelings for the young lady deepen, he feels compelled to violate the agreement and tell her the truth.
