An investigation on the power of imagination and computer simulation in the creation of constructed environments. Following the story of a voyage of the Brazilian military in search of an imaginary island and conversations with simulation makers and scientists, the film analyzes the fine threshold between the real, simulated, and imagined, while also inviting the viewer to question the authenticity of the images and stories being presented.
