Mathangi’s husband, Sargunam, and her brother, Vairavan do not speak to each other after an event that occurred in their past. But more importantly, they both fundamentally disagree on how justice should work. Sargunan believes in the law, while Vairavan believes in fighting for it.

Even after decades, this rift between Mathangi’s loved ones does not shrink. The rift between both the characters, Sargunam and Vairavan aggravates and Mathangi’s efforts seem wasted. Will Mathangi ever get to see their two families join hands together during her lifetime? Or will the pain drag on?
