First 35mm feature film by director Nobutaka “Hideo” Yamaoka. An ambitious work depicting the human “running light” seen just before death, but the shocking depiction as in the previous work is a little hidden, rather a gentle touch centered on a unique sense of time. This film is telling the story of lost and self-destructive youth in oblique, stylized, fantastical fashion.
