The Diwali week will be filled with crackers and celebrations thanks to the giant releases of the time. 31st of October will see two big releases from the Southern industries, them being- Amaran and Bagheera. On November 1st, Bollywood will see two giant releases in the form of Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. A comparatively low-budget and different film too will be released on 31st in Tamil language- Brother.
The film stars Jayam Ravi and Priyanka Arul Mohan in the leading roles. Apart from them, the film will also star veteran actors like Saranya Ponvannan, Bhumika Chawla, Natarajan Subramaniam, Achyuth Kumar, Rao Ramesh, VTV Ganesh and Yogi Babu. The film is written and directed by M. Rajesh, who officially announced the project in August 2022.
The film can be described as an amalgamation of family, romance and comedy genres. Comedy, here is predominant though, present throughout the film. The actors seem to be in quite good form with their performances in the film. Rao Ramesh especially, seems to be phenomenal.
The film potentially seems to be a good watch, though nothing can be said clearly. The main question though is, whether it will survive amidst the giants at the time of release. If only Tamil cinema is considered, the film is clashing with Amaran, which is a highly anticipated film.
But the film will have a chance of gaining some popularity, if not turning a superhit due to the unique genre it presents. The genre of comedy is not unique, when seen from a general perspective, but at the time of release of the film, it will be a very unique genre among all the action films released.
Though the film does not have a clear option of being a superhit film, it still doesn’t seem to turn out to be a complete disaster.
