The Tamil industry is now floating with a slice of life like anything and the upcoming movie “Meiyazhagan” is no less than that.
Written and directed by C.Prem Kumar, Produced by Jyothika Suriya, this movie is filled with sweet melodies of life.
The teaser features a town of Needamangalam where a rather urbane character, played by Arvind Swamy, feels out of place. There is a wedding happening in the backdrop, and soon, we see him find a seemingly unlikely companion.
The movie has action packed sequences, romantic songs and beautiful glimpse of life.
Furthermore, Karthi’s next Meiyazhagan marks 96 director Prem Kumar’s second Tamil film.
This movie promises to provide much more than a slice of life which can be fruitful for the movie, because the Tamil industry has ample amount of movies of this type.
So it is a bold move for the makers that they are adding another book to the shelf.
The movie stars Karthi in a pivotal role, alongside Arvind Swamy, Rajkiran, Sri Divya, Swathi Konde, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, Sriranjani, Ilavarasu, Karunakaran and Saran Shakthi.
The film has wrapped its filming by 24 February 2024, and it is set to release on 27 September 2024.
