It’s surprising, right? Big Rajinikanth film, loaded with a powerful ensemble but still no plans for a Hindi soundtrack for Vettaiyan? With an ensemble of Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati you imagine it would be raring to go global. Especially the Hindi belt. But for the time being, it is limited to Tamil only. What they are attempting here looks as if they are trying to attract the southern audiences and not with plans of becoming elective at least for Hindi speaking audiences, any time soon.
Now, why’s that? The large cast of the film evidently has a big regional fanbase, when we are talking about Rajinikanth’s 170th film. May be not odd to tap on the hindi speaking crowd yet — Big B what are you doing then? Are they just not planning on bringing it to the large Bollywood audience, or are they waiting for an announcement?
