Can Lucky Baskhar Get Into the 100-crore Club?

Dulquer Salmaan’s intense period drama Lucky Baskhar has garnered several good reviews upon its release on 31st October and has been strong at the box office since then. The film was anticipated as a huge comeback for Dulquer after having an underwhelming run with King of Kotha. Well, that’s what happened for Salmaan as the film has performed well until now with positive reviews from the critics and the audiences.

One huge disadvantage for the film has been that it was not released in Hindi which left out a huge portion of the crowd in several regions affecting the film’s overall collection. Despite not getting a Hindi release, the film outperformed most of the regional films and gave a tough fight at the theatres.

5 days after its release, the film continues to dominate the box office with limited screens and shows as it has crossed 61 crores at the worldwide box office. Not only this, the film opened with a staggering amount of 11 crores worldwide on its first day of release. Given the amount of growth it is having, it declared a massive hit for Dulquer.

Lucky Baskhar aims to touch the 100 crore mark worldwide but given the competition ahead, it will be difficult for the Dulquer Salmaan’s starrer to touch the mark. However, given the craze and hype for the film, only time will tell if the film has what it takes to touch the 100-crore mark. Nevertheless, the film’s journey up to now has been phenomenal despite having stiff competition from films like Amaran, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Singham Again, KA, and several other mainstream and regional films.
