On the auspicious occasion of Dussehra today, Sithara Entertainment has launched the first look of their next project titled ‘Kohinoor – Part 1’ starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda in the lead role. Helmed by Ravikanth Perepu, ‘Kohinoor – Part 1’ is slated for release in January 2026.
‘Kohinoor – Part 1’ first look poster is mostly a black and white themed picture with a huge arching frame that has the face of goddess Bhadrakali at the top. This arch has been subjected to destruction and faces the burnt of it while Siddhu stands in the center holding a sword in one hand over his shoulder and a gem, most possibly Kohinoor, in the other.
The theme of the poster suggests how Siddhu’s character is trying to protect the jewel and along with it India’s pride and culture. The official description says, “We have been patient for around 1000 years to claim what rightfully belongs to us
Behold, he will bring back the glory of Goddess Bhadrakali”.
‘Kohinoor – Part 1’ is directed by Ravikanth Perepu who is known for his films like ‘Kshanam’, ‘Bubblegum’ and more. Also, this film will be his second association with Siddhu after ‘Krishna and His Leela’.
As for ‘Siddhu’, he was recently seen in ‘DJ Tillu’ sequel ‘Tillu Square’ which received mostly positive reviews. His other upcoming films include ‘Jack’, ‘Telusu Kada’ and ‘Tillu Cube’.
Touted to be an Indian film, ‘Kohinoor- Part 1’ is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainment banner. The film is co-produced by Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Cinemas. ‘Kohinoor – Part 1’ will release in cinemas in January 2026.
