Viewers are continuously being stunned by witnessing several bone chilling encounters and stories inspired by true events in some of the recent films and series. Crime documentaries have been a hit for the audience and have had several good reviews from the critics as well, however mixing crime genre with comedy is something which requires a lot of guts.
Mathu Vadalara 2 dares to do the unthinkable mixing both the genres having some unique and extraordinary results. This film is a follow-up to the same-titled 2019 film.
On September 13, the movie opened to a respectable reception at the box office. The film was a commercial success, earning over Rs 30 crore globally and going on to become a silent hit. The film is now prepared for its OTT premiere on Netflix, having delighted viewers with its theatrical presentation.
The former delivery agents Babu (Sri Simha) and Yesu (Satya) are shown in this sequel to the 2019 film as special ‘HE Team’ agents led by Deepa (Rohini). As they encounter more difficult obstacles along with thrilling and constant surprises, their bad luck follows. The cast also includes Sunil, Faria Abdullah, Rohini, and Vennela Kishore in prominent roles.
Now what makes this film so unique? Satya is the film’s most notable character; he delivers an amazing performance with perfect comedic timing. His partnership with Sri Simha Koduri is very amusing which will surely keep you hooked up. With every emotion being touched including comedy, thrill, suspense and drama, the film promises to be an all rounder for the fans.
The much awaited crime thriller sets to premiere on Netflix from October 11th. It remains to be seen how it performs on OTT after a decent Box office run.
