Pushpa 2: The Reloaded has been streaming on Netflix India since January 30th. The movie came to the platform after a record breaking box office run and it was pretty obvious that the movie will do wonders even on OTT. Well, it did.
The movie emerged at the second position among the Non-English films on Netflix last week.
But there is better news. It was the most watched film on the platform in terms of watch hours. Netflix calculates the views by dividing watch hours by the duration of the film. This way we get a more holistic idea of the views otherwise films with shorter duration would always sit at the bottom of the list.
Well, the movie has truly received a more than fantastic opening and it will continue to rake in more views.
Even Animal had a long runtime but Pushpa 2 has surpassed it by a little margin.
Pushpa 2: The Reloaded in its debut week earned 5,800,00 hours of views.
Animal on the other hand had only about 5,500,000 hours of views.
So, it is a fantastic start and we are sure that the filmmakers must be rejoicing at this point of time.
