Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Sukriti Tyagi, Mitakshara Kumar, Danny Mamik, Rakhee Sandilya and Sahaan, “Zindaginama” is an anthology of six stories, exploring a diverse range of mental health issues.
In the current time Mental Health is not anymore considered as a phase of life, people are now more vocal about their problems and they are still trying to find how to deal with it.
Here “Zindaginama” presents six different stories, addressing mental health issues regardless of their class, caste and gender.
The stories are beautifully written and presented in a very unique way which will be relatable to all.
The series covers a diverse range of mental health issues starting from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to Anorexia (Eating Disorders) to Depression and Anxiety Disorders.
These issues are very valid and hold a large portion of youth who suffer from it, and every single story beautifully portrays the struggle of it, but not romanticising it, in “Zindaginama” things are true and valid.
The cast of this series is filled with versatile actors like Prajakta Koli, Shweta Basu Prasad, Shreyas Talpade, Anjali Patil, Sumeet Vyas, Ivanka Das, Mohammad Samad, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Sayandeep Sengupta, Tanmay Dhanania, Shruti Seth, Priya Bapat, Yashaswini Dayama, and Lilette Dubey.
This series will mainly be in Hindi, but because mental health issues are a universal problem, it should be dubbed in other languages as well like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, English etc to reach a vast range of audience.
Also the lack of promotion is making it hard to reach a wider audience.
Series like “Zindaginama” should be cherished by a wide range of people, and with such a good cast the lack of promotion can be a bummer for the series.
But with all fairness “Zindaginama” will be released on SonyLIV, on October 10th, which is also “World Mental Health Day”.
So, please stay tuned because you don’t want to miss the chance of witnessing this amazing series.
