The re-releasing trend is going on with full craze and every once in a while new movies are announced to have a re-release soon. Now, the 2022 movie ‘Goldfish’ will be coming back to theaters soon.
The movie, starring Kalki Koechlin and Deepti Naval in leading roles, will hit the theaters on the 20th of September. The movie is directed by Pushan Kripalini and is an English language drama. The movie is written by the director along with Arghya Lahiri.
‘Goldfish’ gained critical acclaim at the time of its release but did not do much business at the box office. It is indeed an Underrated gem but not many people know about it even now. The re-releasing worked for Tumbbad because it has gained huge word of mouth throughout the years and people were intrigued to watch it in theaters. Goldfish does not fall under the same category, even if it is a good film, and there are chances that the release might not prove to be very helpful for the movie.
The movie tells the story of a young woman named Anamika who comes to her childhood home when she gets to know that her mother is diagnosed with dementia. She has to struggle with her childhood memories that become prominent with visiting the place.
