The trailer for ‘Singham Again’ is out now. And it is already creating a huge buzz around fans. People have not really seen a multistarrer of this scale in the last few years and it will be great to have the OG cops from Rohit Shetty’s universe back, as well as some new introductions too.
There will be heavy references from Ramayana and as Singham’s wife gets abducted, Singham and his army of officers go down south to save her. If there were a South Indian actor as the villain as a representation of Ravana, it would have been a great marketing strategy as well. Arjun Kapoor is playing the role of the villain. While he looks promising in the trailer, he does not really have a considerable fan base.
With a loaded list of heroes, Arjun Kapoor really does not seem to be enough against them. And if the makers casted someone like Vijay Sethupathi in his stead, the movie would have worked like fire in the Southern belts.
Tamil, Telugu industries will have their own releases in November and they will not care much about Singham Again. Not casting someone from down South will not work out for the film. But it will no doubt have a great box office run in the Hindi speaking areas.
