Considering the situation at the box-office around the country recently, it is not a matter of pure surprise that when clashes occur, they excite a wide array of audiences. So much so, that the fierce competition begins with advanced bookings, itself, and doesn’t even wait until the film is released in theatres!
The same is being observed at the box-office currently, with the release of the highly anticipated installments of the ‘Singham’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ franchises, respectively. While both ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ have met head-on at the box-office, each with its own set of advantages over the other, the latter title has seemingly emerged as the victor, at least as far as advanced bookings are concerned.
Not only is BB3 being released in more theaters as compared to its competitor, it is also building on the positive response that audiences have recently showered horror comedy films with! Thus, the Kartik Aaryan film is leading the advance-bookings-race by a good margin.
While this may not be a good predictor of the actual sales that both the films garner, this positive response will surely add on to the reception that BB3 receives. On the other hand, the recent copyright strikes against ‘Singham Again’ don’t seem to be working in favour of the title either!
