There is absolutely no doubt about the fact that Prithviraj Sukumaran is one of the most talented actors currently active in India. He has had immense contributions in Malayalam cinema and he never fails to amaze us with experimental and challenging roles.
If we go a little bold then we can definitely say that he is one of the defining actors of the current Malayalam cinema. But, the actor has also tried his hand in Bollywood.
A few people are aware of the fact that he starred opposite Rani Mukerji in the 2012 film Aiyaa. It is a disgraceful film and must be avoided.
Earlier this year, we also saw him in Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan which yet again is no better. We can’t recommend the film to you at all.
To sum up, Bollywood has been an utter failure in giving Prithviraj Sukumaran the kind of good films that he deserves.
Good for him, he is trying another Bollywood film if the reports are to be believed. This time thankfully he has chosen a director who has a history of making good films.
We are talking about Meghna Gulzar who has given us films like Talvaar and Raazi.
The movie will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan who is a fairly recognisable star in the industry.
Sukumaran will essay the role of a cop and the film is based on true harrowing incidents.
