Known for directing blockbuster films like ‘Gadar’, ‘Apne’ and most recently ‘Gadar 2’, Anil Sharma is all set for his next directorial venture titled ‘Vanvaas’ starring Nana Patekar in the lead. The announcement has come today on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra.
The announcement video launched today for ‘Vanvaas’ is more of a concept video that shows a crowd at multiple points and also shows two different places suggesting the distance that separates one from his own family. There’s also a still of a young man with his hands around the shoulder of an elderly man.
Written, directed and produced by Anil Sharma, ‘Vanvaas’ stars Nana Patekar, Khushboo Sundar, Rajpal Yadav and also brings back the ‘Gadar 2’ couple Utkarsh Sharma and Simran Kaur back together. Sunil Sirvaiya and Amjad Ali serve as co-writers for the film.
With music by Mithoon, ‘Vanvaas’ will have cinematography by Kabir Lal and editing by Sanjay Shukla. Suman Sharma will produce the film with Kamlesh Kanungo, Gaurav Agrawal, Rohit Choudhary and Jawahar Lal serving as co-producers.
Presented by Zee Studios and an Anil Sharma Productions film, ‘Vanvaas’ will release soon on theatres.
