Singham Again is just days away from getting released. The movie is gonna be a massive spectacle this Diwali if and only if Rohit Shetty has actually done something good on the script part.
But let’s talk about the trailer which was nothing less than a firework. What was the most prominent thing in the entire trailer?
It was not Ajay Devgn. It was not the rest of the cast. It was not music but something else entirely.
It was the Ramayana theme. The movie capitalises heavily on Ramayana and the whole trailer was nothing but an ode or let’s say an attempt to draw a parallel to Ramayana.
So, what’s the mess about losing the charm?
You see, the film was submitted to the Central Board of Film Certification or let’s say our very own CBFC.
And CBFC trimmed the film by 7 long minutes.
What was in those 7 minutes?
References to Ramayana.
Now we do understand that 7 minutes is not like a huge cut but it matters a lot in a film and if something important has been trimmed then it would significantly change the way the impact of the film works.
If Singham Again has become weaker after this trimming then it must be a matter of joy in the T-Series office.
