All We Imagine As Light is one of the biggest achievements of Indian cinema this year. Payal Kapadia is an absolutely mesmerising poetess when it comes to making films and the whole world is enchanted.
The movie won big time at the Cannes Film festival and the Oscar campaign is going strong. But, there is another good news that you must like.
All We Imagine As Light has successfully been nominated in the Critics Choice Awards.
In the Best Foreign Language Film Category, the movie was nominated alongside Emilia Perez, Flow, I’m Still Here, Kneecap and The Seed Of the Sacred Fig.
It is a really great thing that the movie is gaining recognition at the International scale. More than anything else, it will act as a catalyst in the promotion of the Oscars which are already going on pretty well.
Critics Choice Awards is a fairly reputed Award Show and we hope that the film bags the Award it is getting nominated into.
Anyway, All We Imagine As Light is currently running on the big screens but in most theatres, the price is so high that people are not very interested in watching it. We hope that theatrical chains and the makers come to a mutual understanding where the film is running at a reasonable ticket price.
We are sure that would be a far better thing for the reach of the film.
