Pushpa 2: The Rule is ruling the big screens across India. When the makers announced the movie with the word “rule” in it, then they absolutely knew what they were doing.
With more than 1500 crores in the box office collection, Pushpa 2 is one of the biggest blockbusters of the year and it will be remembered as a benchmark for a long long time to come.
But, what about the OTT window?
Naturally, Netflix India has grabbed themselves a jackpot and people are extremely excited for the OTT release of the film.
Fans across the country are tagging Netflix India and there is a huge anticipation about the movie. But, looks like people will have to wait a little longer.
Pushpa 2 will not follow the typical 28 days window of Tollywood. Instead, it would use the 56 days window that is more typical in Bollywood.
Reasons?
Pushpa 2 is running extremely successfully on the big screens. There is still a huge potential for the film to mint more money.
The makers don’t want to leave the Hindi version behind. Because, they can’t release the Hindi version before 8 weeks.
So, all the rumours stop here. Pushpa 2’s OTT release would take place after 8 weeks. Let’s wait for that.
