During the recent visit to Mumbai, the Spanish President Pedro Sanchez had a special meeting with the PGI. Many delegates from the Producers Guild of India (PGI), which included First Lady Begona Gomez met with Spanish President.Along with her the minister for transportation and sustainable mobility Óscar Puente, Indian ambassador to Spain Dinesh Patnaik also attended the meeting.
The conference was also attended by Dinesh Patnaik, the Indian ambassador to Spain. Aashish Singh of Red Chillies Entertainment, Ankur Garg of Luv Films, Shiv Chanana of T Series, and Nitin Tej Ahuja, CEO of PGI, were among the prominent figures in the industry that joined the PGI delegation, which was led by Shibasish Sarkar, president of Reliance Entertainment.
There were many important points discussed in the meeting. Collaboration of filmmaking ideas between Indian films and Spanish films was one of the highlight.Sanchez made his first trip to India in eighteen years in an attempt to improve relations with the Indian film business. This was the first official visit by a Spanish president in eighteen years.
The purpose of the two-day tour was to talk about ways to improve cooperation among filmmaking fraternities.Shibasish Sarkar gave a talk about the Indian film industry’s size and multilingualism, as well as the elements that influence producers’ decisions to shoot in a particular nation.
Indian Films are successful on a global level as well. Russia is in talks with India for a major collaboration in the film industry. Along with this Japan also has released some Indian films again. The Indian films have great responses around the Japanese audience.
