The trailer for Sonu Sood’s directorial debut film ‘Fateh’ is here and it’s one bloody ride with Sood taking charge from the front. ‘Fateh’ is set to hit the big screens on 10th January, 2025.
The trailer begins with a glimpse of Fateh’s (Sonu Sood) past where he used to work as a no questions asked assassin for an agency. But he has moved on from his dark past and now resides in a quaint village where he befriends a young woman, played by Jacquline Fernandez, who is looking into a cyber crime mafia that’s planting fake apps in India.
When she goes missing one day, Fateh channels his inner assassin once again and emerges from self-imposed retirement as an avenging angel, determined to bring down the entire cyber mafia syndicate.
‘Fateh’ trailer showcases some pretty deadly action scenes where Sonu Sood takes on his opponents single handedly while being all suited up. The background score adds a classic style to the action scenes and make the gruesome bloody visuals rather pleasant.
The film’s highlight is its action that’s coordinated by by Hollywood technicians, including fight coordinator Federico Berte (‘Cobra Kai’), fight choreographer Filip Ciprian Florian (‘The Woman King’) and action director/stunt coordinator Lee Whittaker (‘Captain Marvel’).
Directed by Sonu Sood who has co-written the film with Ankur Pajni, ‘Fateh’ stars Sonu Sood, Jacqueline Fernandez, Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz, Shiv Jyoti Rajput, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Prakash Belawadi, and Binnu Dhillon.
‘Fateh’ is produced by Sonali Sood and Umesh Kr Bansal and co-produced by Ajay Dhama. Presented by Zee Studios and Shakti Sagar Productions, ‘Fateh’ will release in cinemas on 10th January, 2025.
