The teaser for Sonu Sood’s upcoming directorial debut ‘Fateh’ is here and he goes all “John Wick” style killing spree in it. Sood also plays the titular role in ‘Fateh’ that is set for theatrical release on 10th January, 2025.
Suited up in black for most part of the teaser, Sonu Sood plays the enigmatic character of ‘Fateh’ whose body count is way beyond thousands and it’s not slowing down soon. He is killing style is sharp, unhesitant and ruthless. There’s a scene where he takes on a group of masked men and it very much resembles the scene from Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’. The teaser also gives glimpses of other characters in layer by Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz and Jacqueline Fernandez.
The official synopsis for the film reads, “Fateh, a mystery man who believes he has left his past behind him, devotes himself to starting a tranquil new life in Punjab. However, when a local girl falls victim to cyber mafia and goes missing in Delhi, he is unable to walk away. With his powerful skills, Fateh emerges from self-imposed retirement as an avenging angel, determined to bring down the entire cyber mafia syndicate.”
The film’s highlight is its action that’s coordinated by Hollywood technicians, including fight coordinator Federico Berte (‘Cobra Kai’), fight choreographer Filip Ciprian Florian (‘The Woman King’) and action director/stunt coordinator Lee Whittaker (‘Captain Marvel’).
Directed by Sonu Sood who has co-written the film with Ankur Pajni, ‘Fateh’ is produced by Sonali Sood and Umesh Kr Bansal and co-produced by Ajay Dhama. Presented by Zee Studios and Shakti Sagar Productions, ‘Fateh’ Will release in cinemas on 10th January, 2025.
