Chiyaan Vikram is all set to make his big-screen return with S. U. Arun Kumar’s Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2. One of the most highly anticipated Tamil films, Part 2 marks the first-ever collaboration between the leading man and director Kumar. Both incredible talents have nearly completed filming this two-part project. The sequel will be dropped first, followed by a prequel entry.
Vikram plays Kaali, a simple and hard-working family man, in the movie who loves his daughter and wife greatly. However, everything starts to fall apart after his dark past comes back to haunt him, allowing the psychotic cop, SI Arunagiri (S. J. Suryah) to wreak havoc in his life.
Apart from Vikram and Suryah, Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 also stars talents such as Dushara Vijayan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Siddique. This one is a G. V. Prakash Kumar musical.
HR Pictures has produced the movie, with Five Star K. Senthil serving as its distributor. It was originally slated to debut in theatres during Pongal 2025. However, the makers decided to push back its release window to avoid a clash with Ajith’s Vidaamuyarchi. Now, it may come out in the Republic Day weekend.
Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 is director Kumar’s fifth directional venture after Pannaiyarum Padminiyum (2014), Sethupathi (2016), Sindhubaadh (2019), and Chittha (2023). Stay tuned for more updates.
