Shahid Kapoor’s next theatrical release ‘Devs’ is coming to theatres on 31st January, 2025 and the anticipations for this one are really high.
Directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews, ‘Deva’ follows a brilliant yet rebellious police officer investigating a high profile case. As he delved deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of deceit and betrayal, leading him down a thrilling and dangerous path.
The promotional stuff for this action thriller drama has been great and is receiving phenomenal response from public. The intense action packed trailer, specially Shahid’s raw, rugged and savage character as a cop who listens to none has been garnering massive applause.
Infact, people were quick to remember his role from his mega blockbuster ‘Kabir Singh’ and expect something similar from ‘Deva’ as well.
What’s more exciting is that ‘Deva’ is an original concept and not a remake, which is always a good thing in current era of pointless remakes. Also, the film reportedly has some secretively shot sequences to keep the plot twist intact and prevent it from leaking.
Moreover, as mentioned by Shahid in a recent interview, if loved by the fans ‘Deva’ could definitely get a sequel. That goes on to show how confident Shahid is about ‘Deva’ and hopefully it might be the next ‘Kabir Singh’ for him.
