Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra is to be launched soon on October 11th. The film is highly anticipated by audiences and while the film is expected to do good among Alia Bhatt fans, who are situated mostly in the Northern regions; an announcement has proclaimed for the film to go pan-India with a Telugu release.
The news was confirmed through social media posts of various media handles that Jigra will see a release in Telugu on the same day of release. For the same, Rana Daggubati’s Asian Suresh Entertainment is Collaborating along with the makers to release the film in Telugu.
This week is expected to see the release of multiple Telugu films like Chitti Potti, Bahirbhoomi, Swag etc. But the next week will be completely empty in terms of Telugu cinema. The films releasing in this week will not have (as it seems now) that big of an impact to be prevalent in the next week as well- especially with the release of Vettaiyan.
This will ensure Jigra gets a good response in the Telugu market at the least. In Hindi-speaking states, the film will see a direct clash with Vicky Vidya Ka Who Wala Video. It will also see an indirect clash with Vettaiyan which is supposed to turn out to be a big hit.
In this case securing its position in the Telugu market will result in a chance for the movie to make a good profit and secure itself. Even if things go the other way in Hindi due to competition, the film can expect a good income from the Telugu language.
Although we can not forget the fact that Vettaiyan will be a big film and though it is primarily made in Tamil and Hindi; it will still have a huge impact on the Telugu speaking audience as well. The film can prove to take away the potential audience of Jigra.
Though the film is supposed to be something which can prove to be a hit among the Telugu speaking audience, Vettaiyan can still steal the show for the film in both Hindi and Telugu market.
