The much-anticipated installment of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe, ‘Singham Again’ is expected to set the screens on fire as the Diwali release. The movie is expected to be a culmination of the universe and will have multi-star appearances.
The movie will have an ensemble cast of actors Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan as main leads, along with Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff playing important roles respectively. This is the movie’s fifth installment and a sequel to ‘Singham Returns’ released in 2014.
As per recent speculations, the installment will also bring actor Salman Khan, who plays Inspector Chulbul Pandey, a fictional police officer in the movie Dabaang franchise which was produced by Arbaaz Khan and the actor himself. The role is expected to be that of a special cameo appearance.
The interaction between Bajirao Singham and Chulbul Pandey is hoped to give a special treat to the audiences and fans as both characters are diametrically opposite and provide the screen presence. Also, this will be the fourth time that both actors are joining together for a film.
However, the chances of Salman joining the cop universe are far from possible, as the actor is busy with the schedule of the upcoming movie ‘Sikandar’ directed by A R Murugadoss, the idea can bring better mass appeal to the installment.
Furthermore, this association would cause a dilution and unnecessary havoc to the cop universe as both the world-building are non-comparable. Along with this, the reprising of such a character could affect the plot and distract the storytelling. Hence, the content might lose its potential with such non-pertinent add-ups.
