Yash Raj Films, one of India’s biggest production houses has joined hands with an upcoming banner Posham Pa Pictures that has established a name for itself in the streaming world with its few yet acclaimed projects.
Through this latest creative partnership they plan to jointly develop and produce theatrical films starting 2025. Detailed announcements on the projects are expected to arrive in the coming months.
Poshan Pa Pictures, founded by Sameer Saxena, Amit Golani, Biswapati Sarkar and Saurabh Khanna, is the same banner that created and produced hit OTT shows and films like ‘Mamla Legal Hai’, ‘Jaadugar’, and ‘Kaala Paani’ for Netflix and ‘Home Shanti’ for Disney+ Hotstar.
This new collaboration with Yash Raj Films will mark their foray into theatrical releases wherein YRF will provide studio infrastructure and distribution capabilities.
It’s a win-win association for both YRF and Posham Pa Picutres as the former gets to strategically evolve its studio model and the latter gets a platform to reach theatrical audiences.
