Netflix India is the fastest-growing Indian OTT. After the big change of content slate in 2023, the platform finally worked on its redemption and we see a total change of scenario.
The content improved and ultimately the number of people who subscribed to Netflix India also increased by a massive margin. So, we saw Heeramandi The Diamond Bazaar which is the biggest venture of the Indian OTT so far and it also came out to be highly successful. Needless to say, it was the digital launch of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and a massive event. We had never seen a director of Bhansali’s stature coming to the OTT and when he did, he opened a portal for other directors to follow.
Now, there are strong reports that Netflix India is going to launch another biggie and it is Karan Johar. Recently you may have come across news where Johar sold 50% of Dharma Productions to Adar Poonawalla. To revive the remaining 50%, he must be working very hard and OTT seems just the perfect option.
The man might make a whole series based on aviation and that’s why the title is Jet Set Go. As of now, no other details from the series are known. But stay tuned to Binged for confirmed reports about every news from the OTT industry.
